Shripriya is the president of the Lynbrook High School chapter and the co-president of The JuMP Initiative. She is America's Second Top Young Scientist and the inventor of the patented EasyBZ microneedle patch. Even early on, Shripriya has always been passionate about biology and medicine, most especially about using it to help make the world a better place. She piloted the first JuMP Club in 2022 and hopes to bring a fresh perspective to the field of medicine with a prospective future as a neurosurgeon.
As JuMP’s Lynbrook Chapter Vice President, Shreshta is an avid medical enthusiast with a staunch passion for the intersection of technology and neurobiology. Her experience in biological research at her state-wide and regional science fairs, accompanied with her programming and robotics knowledge, have given her great opportunities to enjoy both of these fields. Her aim is to make JuMP a place for fellow ambitious, driven, and ardent individuals to learn more about medicine and their specific interests within it–via interactive activities, educational online series, and in-person events.
As the Secretary of the Lynbrook High School chapter of the JuMP Initiative, Sruthi is passionate about combining her love for science, technology, and medicine. With a strong focus on neuroscience and biomedical engineering, she seeks to explore the intersection of medicine and technology to develop innovative healthcare solutions, leveraging her expertise in medicine, robotics, and coding. Through JuMP, Sruthi is eager to connect with medical professionals and like-minded peers to deepen her understanding of various medical fields and contribute to JuMP’s mission of inspiring students to explore diverse professions within medicine. Driven by a desire to make a positive impact in healthcare, Sruthi is committed to using her skills to innovate in the fields of neuroscience and biomedical engineering.
Benjamin is the Treasurer of the JuMP Lynbrook Chapter. As a sophomore at Lynbrook High School, he engages passionately with numerous different fields of science, particularly mathematics and computer science. He dabbles a bit in biology, having competed in a few biology olympiads, though he is still deathly afraid of critters. With his unwavering curiosity, Benjamin hopes to dive deep into the world of medicine, aiming to someday make a lasting impact on the world.
Meet Esther, a junior at Lynbrook High School. She’s the Public Relations rep for the JuMP Lynbrook Chapter. Esther is involved in Link Crew, a nationwide mentor-student leadership program that helps new freshmen get ready for high school. Esther is also on school sports teams and does competitive martial arts. Her passion for sports has made her want to help her teammates stay healthy and get better when they’re injured. This has sparked her interest in sports medicine and physical therapy. Esther hopes her people skills and experiences as an athlete will make her a great healthcare professional in the future.
