The first JuMP Club was piloted during the 2022-2023 school year through a student-run club at Joaquin Miller Middle School, where Shripriya Kalbhavi served as the president while emphasizing the Three Cs as the core values of the organization: communicate, connect, and contribute.
"I wanted to join JuMP to learn more about the medical fields within medicine so that I can understand and dive into the fields I would like to specialize in when I grow up."
"I want to join JuMP because I want to be a pediatrician because I want to work with kids and save lives."
"I love psychology and physical reasons are connected to it. I also see this as a good opportunity to learn something. Either way, I don't want to miss out on knowledge that seems fun!"
"I want to return to the community by becoming a health professional, and I believe joining the JuMP club can help me achieve that goal."
